Much to my mom's envy, I got to go to the taping of Dancing With the Stars last week. There was glitz and glamour and a lot more sequins that you'd ever find in my closet. It was amazing—very Hollywood, very different from the life I left in Brooklyn. I sat in the press room and watched everyone, mouths agape, bound by Marlee's performance.
